Programs are broken down into five facets:

  • Services to Youth
  • The Arts
  • National Trends & Services
  • International Trends & Services
  • Health & Human Services

Columbus Chapter of the Links in Columbus OH has partnered with the Columbus City Preparatory School for Girls (CCPSG) to develop a program of awareness and learning experiences for the girls to enable them to see a broad range of career and lifestyle opportunities that are beyond their current purview and that exist once they pursue a track of college preparedness.

Each week a different Facet comes to the school to work with a 6th grade class on the area of focus of that Facet. The following week a another Facet comes to that same class until all five Facets interacts with that class. After the five week rotation, the rotation of Facets starts again with a new class of 6th graders.

In August 2016, the Columbus (OH) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated, established a partnership with two partners –Partners Achieving Community Transformation (PACT) and Trevitt Elementary (Columbus City Schools) – to launch ParentLinks. The Links, Incorporated focuses on providing a range of innovative, substantive and sustainable Pre-K-16 programming which contributes proven results to key educational or social/community issues.


The Links, Incorporated has a strong and rich record of support for the performing and visual arts, especially where it focused on the presentation of artists of color.


The Links, Incorporated focuses on eliminating disparities to reduce barriers to services through leadership, education, and service. The mission of this facet is to empower the membership to effectively empower the various communities served.


The Links, Incorporated has a mission through it’s Global Trilogy of International Trends and Services, Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), and the Signature Program, “Education Across the Miles” to expand the global platform for programs designed and developed to service the educational, health and cultural needs of people of African descent throughout the world.


The Links, Incorporated established the Health and Human Services facet in response to the chronic health disparities that persist in our communities and result in the decreased life expectancy of African-Americans. This new facet brings greater focus, resources, and coordination to The Links, Incorporated’s health initiatives already in existence.
