Joyce Beatty elected chair of the Congressional Black Caucus for the 117th Congress

Since 2013, Link Joyce has proudly represented Ohio’s third congressional district. She serves on the House Committee on Financial Services and is a member of three subcommittees: Diversity and Inclusion, Housing, Community Development and Insurance, and Oversight and Investigations. As a member of the Financial Services Committee, Link Joyce lends her expertise to the oversight of the entire financial services industry, including the nation’s banking, securities, insurance, and housing industries. As chair of the newly created Financial Services subcommittee on Diversity and Inclusion, Link Joyce leads efforts to ensure the financial services industry works better for all Americans.

Link Joyce has had numerous pieces of legislation signed into law that address the economic disparities in the United States, including measures to improve first-time homebuyers’ financial knowledge; empower college students to make more informed financial decisions; increase access to credit scores; and develop more affordable housing units.
