Link Linda Brown honored as a 2019 PRNEWS Top Women in PR

 

At the annual PRNEWS Top Women in PR Awards Luncheon they honored the women who have made bold advances in crisis management, brand reputation, content creation, social media marketing and more in the last year for their organizations or for their clients.

This awards ceremony honored women at the pinnacle of their PR career. They’ve made significant contributions to their organizations, are admired by peers and employees, and are actively involved in the communications industry.

With more than three decades’ of experience in the PR field, Link Linda Brown who has been called a “strong, yet compassionate leader” as well as “a fierce advocate for her people” whose influence in the organization and her community is “palpable.”

At Huntington, she regularly collaborates with executives and their teams to convey high-priority messages across the 16,000-colleague organization. She leads her Internal Communications team in executing strategic messaging and enterprise-wide events and is a sought-after, valued and respected voice in any challenging situation, including those with external impacts.

Link Linda Brown oversees cultural messaging at Huntington. And, when Huntington introduced new core values, Brown was fundamental in strategically planning their implementation and spearheading the internal communications creation and delivery.

The entire organization has been impacted by Brown’s efforts, and its 2019 all-colleague Voice Survey (another initiative Brown helps lead) found that 90% of colleagues were proud to work at Huntington.
